What is a Cosplay Doll?
A Cosplay Doll is anyone interested in cosplaying, but needs a little help to get started. Becoming part of a 'collection' helps Dolls to find their alter ego, master it and become a professional cosplayer. Like the name suggests, Dolls do not pick their own cosplay and are instead, dressed up and taught to be their new alter ego.
The Cosplay Doll Headquaters is located in Toronto, Ontario and was founded by Doll Collector, Mitchell Burton.
Is everything handmade?
Mitchell likes to give Cosplay clothes as authentic a feel as possible and likes to sew every outfit himself and to scuplt or make accessories. Somethings (like shoes) cannot be made and are purchased. Most purchase items are usually altered to better suit the cosplay.
Why handmake everything?
Handmaking things give the item a more special feel and in most cases are more accurate when made yourself.
